Interesting

Went to a Masterclass on Autism and Gender Dysphoria which was held in the ‘Jasper Carrot Suite’ of Birmingham City FC (never been there before but you can see the bullring clearly from the car park). Jasper is pulling faces from a large framed photo in the suite!

Driving into and out of Birmingham is a very long and tiring experience- especially leaving at rush hour, it seems to take forever to reach the motorway

The seminar was really interesting as there were only 36 of us there and we all had very different professional backgrounds, there were people from charities, people who work in clinical settings, teachers in specialist settings, parents and people who work in completely unrelated jobs - that made for very lively discussion about gender identity maybe more so than autism. People had come from all corners of the U.K. which really surprised me.

I think there’s a clear generational divide in terms of understanding the idea of gender fluidity- I find it fascinating. I suspect that in as little as 10 years time we won’t be needing these kind of discussions (well to this extent) as the younger generations seem to understand this topic far better
