Even more snow!

The trailer birdhouse has twice the snow on its roof as it did last year. The "snow flowers" (extra) are all over the place with shakos for hats. Luckily, I live in a valley that has very little wind and the snow just piles up on every little thing. i think of hobbits when I see the garden now.

Good news: Tonto, the bison who was rescued from a rodeo by a local man and kept in a large yard all alone has been re-rescued. A bison rancher has adopted a group of "misfits"....they are used to human interaction and most have never seen another bison. They cannot be integrated into a regular herd because they are half the size of the big wild ones and would be in harm's way with those herd bulls. So since bison are herd animals and many circuses and rodeos are giving them up, he has gathered up all those he can find and now Tonto is in a herd of his own. Last word is that he now has a girl-friend. I'll track him down this spring and see how he's doing.
