Inspired by a friend who makes their own pizza bases from scratch and enabled by having a stand mixer with dough hooks, I made a loaf of bread using organic wholemeal flour, dried easy-to-use yeast, water, salt and oil. (I’m not sure what the oil is for. Anyone?)
We had it with homemade soup and vegan ‘cheddar cheese’. We left a little for tomorrow only because there was no jam.
Update: it snowed!
