Coffee Time

Mary had a meeting in Galashiels this morning so afterwards we went for a coffee in Quinns.

On our way back we came across a greyhound running along the road just outside Walkerburn. The poor dog was really frightened and we were worried it would end up getting killed on the road so we stopped and I tried to catch it but it just ran away. On my way back to the car I met the dog walker who had just lost the dog and was terribly anxious. The dog had run towards Walkerburn and so I drove her a little way down the road where some other people had seen the dog run up the drive to the church and had blocked the drive so the dog couldnt run back onto the road. Mary and I went home - hopefully they managed to catch the dog.
