Surprisingly alert

Merlin had an operation today to remove a bad tooth and clean the others. When I collected him I expected him to be still woozy - but, no, he came out with tail wagging and jumped straight into the back of the car.  Now he is wanting his dinner - more so than usual as he missed this morning's!
