Hartland Quay

I was out in Cornwall today with a friend from the camera club.  He is recovering from various operations and treatments and this was his first main outing for sometime.  We headed to Hartland Quay where you can park very close to the sea front.  The weather was forecast as mixed and the tide was just going out as we arrived.  The high winds produced wonderful waves and it was good to be outside in an exhilarating environment.  The sun came in and out and we were rained on at one point but we took many photos and then headed off to Bude.  The tide by now was well out any by the time we found a carpark and had some lunch the few surfers we saw heading for the waves were on their way back in.  But we both had an enjoyable time on the beach taking photos of dogs and their owners, wet rock faces and the local environment.

Back home now with lots of photos and a desire to come back and spend more time on capturing this type of environment.
