The details behind

I had so many beautiful dresses to chose from for today’s blip, but in the end went for the room which held my interest most. Dorsetb and I went to the Dior exhibition at the V&A. ( see extras) this room showed the ‘toiles’ , the initial mock ups of the designs. I loved seeing the construction, then the subsequent developments into the final designs.

Interestingly, some of the designs I liked best in person didn’t photograph as well, the intricate detailing being lost. I’ve noticed the same with my hats.
