Sale day Thursday ......

A trailer load of heifers to the mart at St Boswell’s today. The trade is back a bit from last year. They averaged 430 Kg and £880 which works out at 204p/ kg . Roughly 20p/kg less than the same week last year. Wish all my bills were less than last year !
Came home and finished spreading 7 loads of slurry just to take my mind off things .
Should stop watching the news on the telly too. Things can only get worse. The country has gone to the dogs but the idiot politicians still get their wages every week- good work if you can get it !
