Birds (and a critter) in the Everglades

We stayed off the interstate today, and took a 2 lane highway home through the Everglades. We saw many birds, and stopped counting at 33 alligators. The one in the collage was the closest, but I took it in the comfort of our van...hanging out the window.

On our way home, we also stopped to tour the Winter homes of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford in Ft. Meyers, Florida. That was nice.

We got home about 8:30...tired and ready for bed. Night-night.
