Hokianga Harbour

Another day of breathtaking scenery as we drove North and then East to Russell where we will stay for 3 nights.
This shot is taken from the roadside as we headed down to Hokianga Harbour for a hearty lunch stop. The giant sand dunes on the far side looked spectacular in the sunshine.
Today's extra was taken earlier on in the morning as we rounded one of the many bends in the road and were confronted by a spectacular view across to the Tasman sea.
