Wild and Windy .......

After a very dull, wet morning we enjoyed some beautiful blue skies in the afternoon but it was very cold and incredibly windy.

The incoming tide looked quite spectacular as the waves broke on the rocks just beside Pittenweem harbour. I'm sure the fishermen were pleased that their boats were in the harbour and not out on the open sea.

The extra shot shows some of the Pittenweem cottages looking their best under the blue sky.
