The Carousel

The Christmas display at Middleton Hall in Milton Keynes is a traditional yearly event. It has always been - well up until I would say 2-3 years ago - a really impressive fare, with a great theme.

Years ago it was a really big event, it would be a big opening night, where a 'D' or 'Z' list celeb would officially announce it open, not anymore.

So these past few years it's not been very good (IMO) it just seems very sparse, taken up by huts with sellers selling odds and ends and a huge carousel just to fill the space.

I guess they've just run out of money, shame...but still I enjoy it, as it has always been a part of my growing up and I will take the kids to each year also for their memories.
