Another day out in the country....

Today we went on a road trip to visit Kumbharlargh Fort - a stunning construction built in the 1400's with a wall of about 36km which is wide enough for 8 horsemen abreast to travel around.  It is stunning and was only once 'taken' and then only for 2 days as it was so impenetrable.
Unfortunatley once again there were many steps to gain entry so knees are knocking!
In the afternoon we went to a Jain temple in Ranakpur built in the 15th Century, that is one of the best of its kind in India.  It has 1444 columns carved with intricate detail, around 24 halls, and all made of marble taken from quarries here in the region. Absolutely stunning - see few bits I managed to get in extras. There were so many people there it was impossible to get any decent shots, but wonderful to wander around and admire/enjoy.
