Take off

A rainy day spent watching the birds on the deck, trying to capture their antics through very dirty windows. I needed to zoom so the photos are not great but I hope they convey some sense of bird life. I finally settled on this California Towhee, about to lift off and land amongst the fallen seed on the deck.
