Amid the working week’s tedium, the football games sparkle like jewels carelessly dropped into a bowl of soup.
After a dodgy start to the year, I am up to a 66% success rate for the Thursday games.
And this evening’s Friday game was played in above-freezing temperatures, which has to be good.
