Storm Erik arrived in the Isle of Wight, which later in the day caused total chaos, with local flooding and road closures. 
In the meantime, we had a great time watching the waves crashing at Freshwater. Mr E volunteered to walk along the front where the foam was being blown in from the sea. He was in no danger of being washed away, as this was quite far back from the waves!
