Jam, Jute and Journalism

Dundee used to be famous for newspapers and a thriving textile and berry industry. With the decline of these traditional industries the city went into a bit of a decline but is currently in the midst of lots of positive regeneration around the waterfront - centred on the new V and A museum and Captain Scott’s Endurance which was built in the city. We’d a wee wander this afternoon and came across the refurbished McManus Art Gallery which also looks well worth a visit.
