Gondolier

A Gondolier waiting but not for long as the gondolas were busy on the Grand Canal with tourists teeming round the jetties with their selfie sticks positively throwing money in their direction. 

I would say that you cannot visit Venice without taking a gondola - just to slowly wend your way through the waterways, picturesque buildings and stunning scenery. A fabulously decadent and leisurely way to see the sights with a very much lighter wallet!
