Black Cockatoos

Was just about to get in the car when I heard the raucous call of a group of yellow tailed black cockatoos flying above.
Unfortunately I didn't have the long lens, and this is a severe crop.
At this time of the year they hang around, cracking pine cones, making a terrible mess and a big racket.
Who cares?
They're so beautiful, they can do what they like.
Funny, I don't feel that way about sulphur crested cockatoos:)
I think only Australians would understand why.

A couple of hours at the dentist and a bit of gardening.
