West Sands, St Andrews

Not quite the sunny day the forecasters promised, but too nice to stay indoors, so we headed for St Andrews as I had a voucher for a fish and chip meal for two at Cromer's.  It was voted Best Fish & Chip shop in Scotland last year and it was easy to see why.  The food was superb and the staff very friendly.  Just as well I had booked ahead, as it was packed!

Extremely full up, we thought we might go for a long walk on West Sands where "Chariots of Fire" was filmed.  However, the wind had risen and it was very cold, so a short walk had to suffice:-)  Much better on a warm summer's day!
