Courting colors

John had kindly co-operated with me for the Mono Monday shot, capturing the theme of pinch (in the extra). He was pretending to prune the shoots of the apple tree, then falling off the ladder (being in a pinch). We had fun. 
On the way back to the house some hummingbirds were cavorting around;  I got several shots of the male and decided to post him instead, as the main blip.
