Tuesday: Cefni River, Llangefni #Anglesey

Damp start to the day after overnight rain and very mild.
MrD was working today and set off early.
I had an appointment with my friend Merville for a haircut. It was still dry when I arrived in Llangefni so I parked the car at Lidl car park and walked to the salon, crossing the bridge over the Cefni river. Spotted willow catkins and a yellow broom in flower - feels like Spring!
Saw “Route 66” wooden plaque at a charity shop, bought it for MrD’s shed and some books for me ...
After buying loads of groceries at Lidl and bird food and compost at Home Bargains the rain was getting heavier, time to go home.
