On the move

Today we moved hotel and of course travelled by train, our overall journey was from Chur to Interlaken and most of the trip was on the Glacier Express.   We were in a panoramic coach so had a good view of everything going past and again lots of snow.  Like yesterday I was able to find a window that opened and was able to get a few shots leaning out and seeing the front of the train.  We had lunch at our seat and really enjoyed the view.
 
After our lunch we went to look out the window and the train guard came to talk to us, he told us that the section we had entered was the “excellence class” which was due to open tomorrow and that we were not allowed to be there, it was prohibited..  He said he did not even have a key or permission to go in to the carriage, we were not actually in the carriage but had been standing in the lobby before it, but did not argue with him and went back to our seats.  We also did not tell him that the other staff had been sitting in the carriage when he was not around, so probably no key required… I was good and did not go back to the prohibited area but it did mean a few of my photos got reflections due to the big windows.  We enjoyed the rest of the journey and got our next train with no issues and arrived at our hotel before it got dark. 
 
We settled into our room and then went out for a quick walk before coming back for something to eat.  Overall another good day and we are enjoying the trains very much.
