Winter is waning ...

I had to go to  post a letter late this afternoon and caught the 1730 collection. I also caught the late afternoon light when I took this photo on the Promenade. 12 degrees was also a very pleasant surprise.

The Sleeper train despite leaving 30 minutes late arrived on time at Waverley at 0720 this morning. Those who were expecting to get off at Inverness had to trudge across Waverley and join the Scotrail service and be denied a long lie through the central highlands!

My overnight train  from London enabled me to be on time for a very productive meeting this morning at QMU. Work calls in the afternoon also went well.
