Starry night

I got back home late last night after dinner with my parents, and couldn't help but notice how pretty a night it was. I attempted in vain to get a picture- this one is the best I could get! I guess a 30s exposure (my camera won't go higher than this) with the camera perched on a patio table in lieu of a tripod is probably not the best way to capture it! I also tried using the roof of my car as a tripod - as I drove home I pulled over as there's less light pollution in the middle of nowhere, but the pictures didn't come out so well.
