The Colours of Summer....

Another hot dry day with a brisk northerly breeze. Here is the view from the hill to the Taylor Dam. The now brown hills were green a month ago. They are part of Meadowbank Station whereas the distant purple/blue tinted mountains are part of the Richmond Range. Son Duncan came back from Havelock with Margaret and me last night. He and I walked Maisie via the river paths to the Vet Centre. She had her ears checked again for yeast. Then we met up with Keith and Margaret at the cafe on the river bank. Margaret flew back to Wellington this afternoon. And Duncan, feeling sad, returned to Havelock. I was on supper duty at Camera Club. My lower back pain back with a vengeance unfortunately.
