SILLY ME

Yesterday, before the fever set in I went to the local chemist & bought myself a bottle of syrup for " la toux grasse" - translation - "loose cough".

Took a swig in the afternoon & another before going to bed believing this stuff was going to loosen up the tubes...

WRONG! It did precisely the opposite - tightened & dried everything up  - so I coughed all night with nothing to get any purchase on - bugger!
