Walnuts and Tangents

After a late evening at work, a full day's teaching and a Pilates class I confess that book club wasn't high on my agenda, but I pushed on through and was v glad I did: we crushed walnuts with our bare hands, pretended to know stuff like we used to before Google, and laughed a lot at our ability to go off on tangents. It was a lovely evening, though I almost fell asleep on the train home.

For the record: the book was Addlands by Tom McCullough. Very very good, a brilliant book, we all enjoyed it (I didn't finish it, but I will).
