Golden plover (Kolea) , reflecting . . .

Overall pelting cold rain, but then suddenly we'd get blue sky and sunshine for a short while, still breezy 25 - 30 mph and cool.  Thunderstorm in the wee hours of the morning. A similar day is expected for tomorrow, so tonite, I will (finally) put flannel sheets on the bed.
