It didn't last long

The sun was so low and trees and paths and everything was bright red for a few minutes. It was like taking a sunbath fully dressed (or perhaps like walking on Mars after terraforming.....).
It didn't last long; only a short walk but by the time I reached the car there was no more sun and no more light and I was happy to go home.

It was another day of a huge difference between morning temperatures (-3) and afternoon temperature (+17°C). And now, two hours later, we're down to 4° already. Another frosty night ahead?
I will not leave the house tomorrow before the frost is gone.
