Cats Protection: Donkeys!

Today being my 60th birthday, Mrs Catspaw and I both took the day off and went on a visit to the National Cat Adoption Centre run by the charity, Cats Protection at Chelwood Gate, just a few miles from where we live.

We saw a number of adorable cats, but we think that with three rabbits in the back garden, and living next to a busy main road, we were not really in a position to adopt a cat in our present circumstances.

However we were very surprised to see not only cats, but three donkeys - Holly, Star and Twinkle - who live in a paddock there under a partnership with the Donkey Sanctuary through their Donkey Guardians scheme.
