Fog in the valley

A sub-zero sunny day, perfect for a walk around the Helvellyn edges. Quite a few climbers around now, as the snow has firmed up, and plenty of walkers enjoying the winter. The layer of fog filling the Eden valley gradually spilled down Ullswater as the day went on to give a different world as we descended into gloomy Glenridding in the late afternoon.
