Knik Glacier Fat Tire Ride

Today we cycled out to Knik Glacier on our snow bikes. We had not been out there before (about 20 miles round trip on the bikes). The temperature was unusually cold, about +4F at the car parking area, and -4F on the road out. The ride to the glacier is mostly flat (see extra photo), frequently on the frozen river's edge, and tiring for me.  Because of the cold temperatures, we didn't linger for long. We ate our lunch on the rock in the photo and headed back, since we needed to keep moving to stay warm. The start of the ride is between Anchorage and Palmer up a valley.
