Well, sweetheart, what a difference a week makes! A week ago tonight, last Tuesday, I was a nervous wreck waiting for news about your arrival, as poor Mummy's waters had broken in the early hours of Monday! I thought it was hard waiting on your big cousins to come but never imagined the terror I would feel waiting for that phone call to say that you were here and Mummy was fine! What a monkey you are to keep us all hanging like that!

And here you are, 6 days old, and it's like you have always been here! You are such a wise wee soul it's as if you have been here before! That's what they said about your big cousin Charis when she was born!

You have made so many people happy sweetheart and you will go through life deeply loved and cared for. We look forward to seeing how you make your way in this world and our hope and prayer is that above all you be happy and content and at peace.
