Fake Banksy

The was a stencil of a little girl looking at her phone on the wall of the pend I use to get to work. 

Apparently Someone Important decided it was a Banksy. I took a look and came to the conclusion that it is not by that artist at all. Banksy's stuff is usually better placed, almost always has a secondary message and is usually of higher design quality. This was just a stencil of a little girl looking at her phone. 

Having said that the graffiti has been attracting the most ridiculous attention. The white wall of the pend has now seen at least five other contributions including a couple of tags, dribbled black paint, a huge green penis and now this vitriolic critique. 

It may or may not have been a Banksy, but it was a picture of a little girl and was far less offensive and far more picturesque than any other graffiti now displayed. 


Rant over. 


Banksy has a lot to answer for.
