Day 3

14th was the BIG day. F's 4th birthday.

Yesterday the excitement levels were just slightly down but the joy of being 4 still filled the day. The decorations were still up, balloons everywhere and lots of party food left.
After nursery and a visit to the swimming pool, F was soon in her party dress again.

Day 3, and F is still in party mood. Saturday morning ballet lesson over, she was soon changing into a sequin covered dress - a gift that arrived today. It was perfect for her regular performances of the songs from Frozen.

In quieter moments she drew pictures for everyone and with impressive patience for a 4 year old threaded tiny beads onto elastic to make us bracelets.

This afternoon I was pleased to be able to lure, first one, then number two and number three grandchild away from their screens to play a game of 'hunt the thimble'.
