Axiom

When this building was erected, it contained parking spots for every employee that had a car. Fast forward and a car park in central London is an unaffordable luxury. Plus the employees are on the tube. Conrad Shawcross was the artist. Whether I look at it, I'm reminded of the years of liturgical works drawing the eye upwards, and how in some ways, very little changes. My day involved a ridiculously late train, containing an Altrincham based American who wanted to tell us all his life story. This is absolutely the only time in my life I've been tempted to pretend to be a grumpy Southerner. Thank heavens for Kindle and Placebo on iPod.
