The dream and the reality

Christ Church Cathedral in Christchurch - still in ruins 8 years after the earthquakes. The picture shows the dream, sadly I very much doubt I'll live to see it fulfilled. It should have been removed and a New Zealand church built in its place. it will cost at the very least tens of millions, and quite possibly more than a hundred million to rebuild it as it was. A missed opportunity.
