Pigeon Valley Fire, Tasman/Nelson, NZ
- Residents of the remaining 14 evacuated properties from Pigeon Valley were permitted conditional re-entry from 8am this morning.
- Redwood Valley, Eves Valley and Teapot Valley residents were given access of six hours to their properties today.
- This afternoon a helicopter crashed while fighting the Pigeon Valley Fire. The pilot is in Nelson Hospital receiving treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
