Trapping the heat

The plastic taped up is helping keep the heat inside this restaurant and bar. It's been chilly the last few weeks, and there's no end in sight. On this day in 2016, we had our earliest 90-degree day ever.

Today was quite the day at work. One of our newspapers was not assigned a designer or an editor, and we didn't hear about it until an hour after deadline when someone from the press room emailed. So we scrambled with a few designers and editors and got it done in about 20 minutes. Wow. I guess this reorganization at work isn't going so well.
