Barred owl Mated Pair

These two Barred Owls have been a pair for at least the 4 years that I have photographed them. Every year they come back to the same area and nest.   This was a first for me seeing them on a perch tree together in this position.  They sat for about 10 minutes and I certainly was grateful .   The lighting was beautiful and the background was all green.   It could not have been a better situation for me.      Lover of Owls.
