OMG AN ENORMOUS beastie today!

I dont know what it is with me and spiders. I use to be petrified of them but now that Im into photography I can get up close and personal with the likes of these. This guy is enormous! A good 7cm body length and with its legs out Im almost certain he would be at least as big as my palm! I was standing at the edge of my garden watching the dragonflies when BANG I saw this fella! I actually got a fright but couldn't miss such a grand macro opportunity! Again I have no idea what species he is.. Vodacaman you can come and help again! What say you?
