Helleborus 'Queen Lady'

Today was generally grey and breezy, much more conducive to concentrating on work! I settled down and managed to achieve everything that I needed to get done by mid afternoon, when, of course,  it started raining, scuppering my plans for a walk. 

The rain was relatively short-lived, so I searched the garden for something to photograph. My eye landed on this very subtle double hellebore, labelled as 'Queen Lady' mix, which formed part of our Valentine's Day haul We already have quite a few different types of hellebore, but I could very happily fill the shadier parts of the garden with more, as every plant is unique, and they all benefit from close examination!
