Not without a Hitch

Quintessential Cambridge homes in the sunshine. Although traditionally without the parked Mini.

On this UK trip I am zipping around like a social madman. I caught the train to Hitchin as my old friend Lucy was there, lunching with her old NCT group. She ditched them after a few hours to sit in a pub and stroll around with me.

On the way back I was paying little attention and mistakenly boarded the train to Peterborough instead of Cambridge. Then I had to await a returning train on the blustery cold platform of a godforsaken place called Arlesey, before more loitering in Hitchin. The delay ate into the evening, but it was worthwhile to see the exuberant Lu.
