Fantabulosa!

I wasn't sure what to expect with this but I've been obsessed with polari for many years (probably due to being brought up watching a lot of Kenneth Williams) and when I saw it advertised at Leeds Central Library I just had to go.

It was fun and I even learned a few new words and meanings to add to the polari dictionary I painstakingly wrote out many years ago (if only I put my time to something useful! hehe) 

Anyway my favourite phrase in polari is still "how bona to vada your dolly old eek" which translated means "how good to see your pretty face" :-)
