Banksia Cone

There are over 170 Banksia species, this is just one of them, they are everywhere at the moment, quite a display when a bush holds more than two dozen of these cones.
I sat in the car outside the boys school this afternoon, i spotted the display the other day, and thought this would be a lasting memory of picking up the boys for the last week or so.
