Anna Pavlova

Anna Pavlova by John Lavery is one of the stand outs in Kelvingrove Art Gallery. We had half an hour to spare so our lightning visit included the diplodocus, the Da Vinci drawings and a quick drop by the usual favourites. Da Vinci stuff I didn’t know included that because he was left handed he often wrote in ‘mirror’ text to avoid smudging and that he often left things incomplete. So, it this late age, I finally realise courtesy of Leonardo Da Vinci that my untidy smudgy handwriting was the fault of the system!.
