Shard of Light

Monday morning stroll to the office. A crisp start to day over the Millennium Bridge, along south bank to Westminster with Big Ben chiming 10 o'clock.

The mad rush of commenters and the frantic positioning of tourists to get the best shot, tolerating each other for pavement space, dipping under the line of sight of the many David Baileys, performing a chicane of acute angles , running the gauntlet of cyclists who ignore the red lights......

Phew, made it. F1 for commuters. Think I'll try new pit stop strategy next time.
