A MASTER AT WORK....

.... meet Arthur, one of our many new neighbours since moving.

He is a superb wood craftsman on the lathe. The main pic shows him progressing to making a pen with wood crafting. 
The first extra shows the "rig" designed by him, to insert the pen pieces together, and the second extra showing Arthur with the finished pen.

The third extra showing one of his works and the wood piece it started from. If you look closely the holes around the top of the bowl were drilled again with a jig he designed and built specially to do this.

The occasion was the opening of our "workshed" and Arthurs input by way of equipment he donated, has us well setup to get in and have fun making "stuff" or maybe just getting together to have a good laugh.
