Naava

For a change, we have had a most beautiful blue sky day. That meant a photo walk in lovely light. I found this naava hanging on a birch tree in the local forest.
Naava, for my Irish friends, is of course the beard of a passing tonttu. You may have seen these little Santa's Helpers in my photos before. This one headed away after Christmas that he left part of his beard caught on a tree. Life's like that sometimes.
